Wine Helix Direct Pull Corkscrew - Hex Aluminum Limited Edition

The Wine Helix is a modern reinterpretation of the iconic First Patented Corkscrew by the Rev. Samuel Henshall in 1795. Designed with a slightly tapered stainless steel stem with stepped button terminating in a Tungsten worm.  Henshall's original patent incorporated a button between the shank & the corkscrew worm. Its purpose was to compress and turn the cork once the corkscrew worm was fully inserted, thus breaking any bond that might exist between cork and bottle.

Simple and easy to use, with a continuous clockwise turning action, once the cork is loaded onto the corkscrew worm, simply continue to turn clockwise and pull upwards from the bottle.

All corkscrews are individually hand crafted in the USA and come with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. 

The HEX series uses modern materials and industrial 7/8 hex bar that has a hand brushed finished.

Each corkscrew is presented in a black velvet draw string bag complete with historically patent detail.
